rémy mathias garnier this here is rémy. he's thirty-one years old and he's a doctor at mercy hospital. he's married to cerise garnier, and unaware that she's cheating on him. in general, he's a pretty nice guy, but he's incredibly busy; he spends most of his time at the hospital and he regrets that he doesn't get to spend a lot of time with his friends and family, but he's studied 13 years to get where he is right now and he's just not very willing to give it all up just for some quality time with the family. he tries to be at home as often as possible, but the dreaded pager he always has to carry around tends to ruin family dinners. he doesn't particularly like it, but he can't do much about it either seeing as he isn't the one in charge and he would like to not get fired. he's a surgeon who specialises in neuro surgery, and he's a pretty damned smart guy. just maybe not in how he prioritises things, but well, he is actually aware of messing up in his personal life. he just doesn't know what to do about it. he's trying to be there as much as he can though, so it's not like he's not putting in any effort.
as far as the plotting stuff goes, he's going to need just about everything. he's got his wife already, the lovely cerise, so he won't really need any present love interests, but maybe some past ones? he's originally from france but he moved here when he was just a kid so there's not even much of an accent left to be honest. there's just his name that gives him away. he's going to need friends who can put up with him not having a lot of time for them and with hanging out at the most awkward times. lunch time is probably when he's free the most, which isn't the most convenient of times for most. but yeah. he'll probably have some enemies as well, former friends he ditched once too often, or maybe rivals from work. and well, i already covered the lovers part. so yeah! have at him (: |

(I'M ON THE WRONG ACCOUNT, BUT IGNORE THAT.) So, I'm just happy that there's someone else Dante's age. Normally, these two probably wouldn't run into each other during their everyday life, but when you throw in a nail gun and an injury (which we'll say was near the brain. which is completely possible, as it happened to my dad XD) on my lovely little ex-army carpenter, he has to see a doctor sometime.
Being the out-going guy that he is, I think Dante would've struck up a conversation and gotten to like this man. Why? Because he'll like just about anyone, unless given a reason not too. Plus, I'm assuming Remy doesn't go around saying stupid stuff that would piss this boy off. SO. I think they need to be friends that are so.. like, completely different that it's awesome. : D And, when / if he finds out his wife is cheating and wants to get a beer and wallow a bit, Dante will be happy to buy.

So, I was told to post here about my idea. So, here goes.
I was thinking that since Remy's wife cheats on him, I think Malcolm could be that man. Only, he doesn't know that she's spoken for. I picture them being together and when he finds out exactly what's going on he feels incredibly bad about it because he would have never gone along with it if he had known because he's a man who has old fashioned values is crushed that he fell for a woman who is married.

that sounds great to me! and yeah rémy is a decent guy and he knows better than to go around staying stupid stuff. lol his interns saying stupid stuff annoys him to no end, so yeah. ehm but definitely! and he'd need someone to take him out for a beer, so that's a good idea xD

aw lol poor malcolm and poor rémy. ehm yeah i don't think rémy would like him much but he'll probably be more upset with ceri than with malcolm, even if he would prooobably tell malcolm to stay the fuck away. lol he's more the type to wallow quietly in his misery though, he won't really get violent, pissed off, maybe, but yeah. ehm. it would be interesting to thread out a confrontation between them once the cat's out of the bag, yes? (:

asjdbfkajbds this is late, but ehm, yes! none of the cheating drama has been set in motion just yet, but it will be soon ( i think anyway xD ) aaand then we should definitely thread them. and if you want we can thread something now as well, coz yeah xD

was thinking these two could be be friends, there
is a six year age difference, but she's very friendly.
so maybe she helps him all the time personal wise
and work wise. add/subtract?

oh yes definitely! rémy needs some work friends to help pull him through insane shifts and all xD but yeah i can definitely see them being friends (: the age difference won't really be a problem soo. yeah. lol. sounds good to me!
