Hayden and his really good friend Aiden hadn't seen one another for quite a while, and figured they were due for another hang-out-and-jam session like they used to have so often. After little deliberation, they decided this nights jam session was to be held at the bonfire that had been going on, something that seemed to be packed full of people. Although Hayden wasn't much into it, there'd be a lot of girls there, he guessed that was a plus for his pal. So that's where they decided.
Hayden was just getting out of the shower, and ran a towel through his hair. He decided not to spike it today, and simply just blew it dry with a blowdryer. After that was done, he ran his hand through his hair and decided that he didn't really care what he looked like that night. He slipped on a pair of boot cut jeans and a loose tank top over his slim, frail body. Covered in tattoos, some peaked out of the sides of his clothes. Hayden laughed a little at the first he had gotten while Aiden was there. He had good times with that kid. Hayden was excited for the night.
After slipping on his beat up sneaks, Hayden grabbed his acoustic guitar and strapped it on his back. He grabbed his keys, his phone, and his wallet, sliding them all in his pocket and walked over towards the loft area of his apartment. His sister was sleeping on the couch. Hayden leaned over and kissed her forehead, smiling softly at Lily's soft snoring. He was glad to have her, and was sure that if she wasn't suffering from a cold, she'd be right along for the ride to the bonfire. Hayden soon walked out the door, locking it behind him, just in case.
It was getting to be evening, and the sun had about set. It wasn't too unbearably humid, and the sun wasn't glaring down on Hayden, so he was happy. He got in his beat up old slug bug and threw the guitar in the back seat. After the sissles of trying to start old buggy grew to a roar, Hayden pulled out of the parking lot and headed down the old familiar roads to Aiden's place.
As he arrived, he laid his hand on the horn and let the whole building have it. Hayden laughed as he saw Aiden appear from the doorway and waved. "Sup!" He screamed out the window, banging on the door and smiling, watching his friend arrive. ___________________________________________________________________________ Word Count 538 with coding? ©jack attack! at caution 2.0SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEFor Aiden, not playing his guitar was almost a sin, allowing it to sit untouched for over a month was unheard of. Yet, for the twenty-two year old it was exactly what had happened. When he had left the band to come home to take care of his mom, Aid didn't have the energy let alone the will to pick up the instrument; so in his old room it sat. Once she had pasted only then had he moved it from beside the foot of his bed to his closet, it was after all another reminder of her since she taught him how to play. And there it sat until one phone call from Hayden Everett would persuade him otherwise.
Having already showed earlier, Aiden quickly changed out of his pajamas into straight leg jeans and his TWLOHA® t-shirt. The man wasn't stupid and knew that Florida's heat was horrid during the summer and even in what he had just changed into was going to be too hot for the weather, though the sun was setting and the temperatures would start to drop soon enough. Sighing, the brunette forced himself to finally go into his old room and get his guitar out of his closet. It was something unreal to see the instrument that had meant so much to him for years.
As the sound of a car horn echoed through his walls, Aid couldn't help but to roll his eyes as he grabbed his guitar and headed toward the door grabbing his wallet and keys along the way. The brunette contemplated on locking the door or leaving it be for the night since nothing had ever happened to him since he'd lived there all of twenty-two years. Deciding against it, Aiden figured Landon would most likely come home to be locked out then call him to unlock the door for him. In all honesty, his brother wasn't the brightest of the crayons in the box and it was clear sometimes.
“Hey,” he smiled sliding into the passenger side of the car after carefully placing the instrument in the backseat. “Where's Lils?“ Aid questioned looking back into the backseat again making sure he didn't just squish her with his guitar. It was odd not to see her with Hayden; probably because he'd spent so much time around them both.

Hayden smiled as he watched his friend enter the guitar. "Seeing you with a guitar is like foreign shit. We gotta do this more often." Hayden said, laughing a bit and whistling along to the soft music that played through his car speakers. City and Colour. His musical obsession of the moment. He smiled and switched the car into reverse, backing it up and turning around the corner of Aiden's place onto the main roads.
Hayden listened to Aid speak as he asked of the whereabouts of Lil. This made Hayden said, and he kinda frowned, thinking about his sister being home alone. "She's sick as a dog." Hayden said, biting his lip and looking over at Hayden. "She's been that way all week but refuses to go to the doctor. I'm sure she would've loved to see ya though, she talks about you a lot recently." Hayden said, tapping the steering wheel as he made a sharp left turn. Hayden was a terrible driver, unless Lil was in the car with him. She always yelled at him, so he just drove well to make her be quiet about it. Hayden pulled out in front of a guy, and turned right at the stop sign, barely even stopping at all. He could see the bonfire's smoke in the distance and smiled. "Smells good." he said, more to himself than Aiden. "Hey, you know, you should come visit Lil sometime. She'd like seeing something more than my ugly face everyday." Hayden suggested, as he pulled into the nearest parking spot a bit too quickly.
Hayden put the car in park and ripped the key out of the ignition, turning around and grabbing his throw-over bag, his black hooded sweatshirt with a ripped collar, and Aiden's guitar. He handed that over to his passenger, and placed his own guitar in his hands, hopping out of the car and throwing it over his shoulder. He slammed the car door shut, but left the windows down, wanting the scent of the wood burning to seap into the car seats so he could enjoy it later. Hayden laughed at the little cliques of people standing around talking, playing volleyball, laughing, and carrying on. "Who shall we pleasure first?" Hayden asked looking over at Aiden with a devilish look, letting out a soft laugh and shaking his head. ___________________________________________________________________________ Word Count 521 with coding? ©jack attack! at caution 2.0SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEWith a roll of his eyes, Aiden ignored the comment about him and his guitar. It wasn't that uncommon, it'd only been a month or two since it'd been touched, longer since it'd been played...Okay so maybe it was becoming foreign. But in his defense he had viable excuses, Landon, Noelle, and then the death of his mom pretty much put a stop to his playing of the guitar for a while, though he sometimes sung to Noelle to get her to sleep. It wasn't exactly the same; singing and playing. “Let's just hope I don't end up breaking all the strings in one go.” That wouldn't be good for the man to break every string on his guitar, or even to break one string as he didn't have any replacements.
Aiden let out a soft sigh as he tried not to comment on his friend's driving, he now remembered why he preferred Lily in the car with them. “I probably will go see her when she's not trying to get everyone sick...Unless you want me to try and persuade her to go to the doctor...” Aid was sure he could get her to go, it wasn't hard for him to manipulate people into doing things like that seeing he lived and dealt with his mom for a while and took her to all the appointments and what not – even if she protested along the way. “She's been talking about me huh? That just proves I have to go see her soon, can't have her driving you up the wall talking about me.” He stated even though he doubted that it was possible to do such a thing, but you never actually know.
A smile eased across his lips as the smell of the fire hit his nose, it was simply amazing. Grabbing his guitar after getting out of Hayden's car, Aiden started toward the beach. “The musically challenged, duh!” Aiden chuckled, knowing that it'd be tough to decipher who was and who wasn't. He would just play, hopefully not horribly, but to anyone that would stop and listen.

Hayden listened to Aiden as he spoke of Lils. Hayden hated seeing her so damn sick and refusing to go to the doctor made Hayden feel even worse. He was relieved when he heard Aiden was offering to go over there and talk her into it. "That'd be cool if you came by and visited. She'd be happy as a little lamb." Hayden said, laughing at the thought of her sister being instantly better if Aiden came over. She'd really liked two of Hayden's friends, Kayden and Aiden, and was so happy to see either one of them at any time of the day.
"So everybody here?" Hayden asked with a laugh, in response to the musically challenged comment his friend had so cleverly made. Hayden locked the doors to his car, his guitar in hand, and walked towards the beach with his friend. "What song first?" Hayden asked as he pointed towards a huge log/tree-bench thing that looked like a damn good spot to sit down and jam out.
It was times like these where Hayden was really glad to have made such good friends over the few years he'd been here. It was a shame he had to get up and leave home, but he was damn thankful for the wonderful people he'd run into in Flordia. Hayden sat down and patted the bench next to him, smiling at his friend. Today was gonna be a damn good night, he could already feel it. He just wished Lils was there to see it.
Dear Aiden, this is for you! This is finally completed. I have absolutely zero muse. I'm sorry. I tried. >.> Layout by Arro @ Caution 2.0
