FAVORITE FOOD?
chili cheese fries. no doubt. they're filled with gluten, fat, sugars and things some demented person created in a test tube, but i love them dearly. i am always on the search for a restaurant with the best.
ARE YOU A VIRGIN?
yes, but only because of the was i was raised. extremely catholic family. and maybe because i was never the coolest guy around.
FAVORITE COLOR?
green. i once read this book about the science of colors. it's escaped my mind on who wrote. goodness, that's going to bother me now. sorry, anyway, green is supposedly the color of harmony and balance. it symbolizes hope , renewal, and peace. usually liked by the gentle and sincere.people who like green are generally frank, community-minded people, fairly sociable but preferring peace at any price. green people can be too self-effacing, modest and patient, so they may get exploited by others. they are usually refined , civilized and reputable. hmm..well, i like about two-thirds of that.
HAVE YOU EVER EMBARRASSED YOURSELF?
yes..plenty of times in my life. i don't think a day goes by that i don't embarrass myself. actually, i just did a while ago. i tripped on my way into my supervisors office today and spilled coffee on a stack of golf magazines. they were just magazines, but they matter when they belong to the person who makes or breaks your career.
FAVORITE DRINK?
well, are we speaking alcoholic or non? i don't drink too heavily, never have. i like beer. maybe the occasional glass of wine if the situation calls for it. i'd have to say most important would be water. sounds boring and overused, but water is so important to drink.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS?
hopefully still working , and in a higher position. perhaps a serious girlfriend. maybe even a wife and family. i don't really know. i just want my health and to be in good spirits. i don't want to go into a quarter life crisis at twenty-six.
FAVORITE HOLIDAY?
it's always been christmas, it's the one holiday every single member of my family, extended included, makes it their obligation to join up with the rest of the family. christmas is the one time of year i know i will be able to see people in my family i rarely get to see any other time.
WHAT'S ONE THING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
that i am a virgin. it's not exactly something a guy wants anyone to know. especially when they're twenty-one. i guess no one really know why i have my limp or why i walk with a cane sometimes. it never really comes up. i guess people just assume their own reasons or don't think about it.
DO YOU PREFER THE NIGHT OR THE DAY?
most definitely the day time. i happen to enjoy the light and sunshine.
NAME A FANTASY?
lingerie models doing an academy-award-worthy reenactment of star wars: the phantom menace. what? who said lingerie models can't act? hey, you said a fantasy.
Busted. The word could even commit the same effect of what she was really feeling. She closed her eyes in anticipation for the novel of a speech she was about to get from her music teacher. Jaquie herself was a medical major at the school, but she had joined the elective class, Last Chance Sing! , when she was a sophomore. It was for who enjoyed music and singing but had to desire to do it as more than a hobby. She slowly turned from her drunken companion as he staggered a way. Jaquie wished she could do the same. Just stagger away, laugh it off, and forget it all even happened. She glanced at her bar-tending friend with pleading eyes. Alexander did nothing but shrug his shoulders and mouth, "Good luck." before shrinking away and busing himself with a customer that didn't need to be helped. Coward. But she couldn't blame him for being one. The senior wanted to do the exact same thing. Just shrink away as if the situation didn't involve her at all.
" Mr. Lane ... " she paused trying to put her thoughts together. What excuse could she come up with? She was a minor in a club that was meant for people twenty-one and over. Everything about the situation spelled illegal. There was no way to sugar coat it, no matter what she said. Finally giving up, she just gave a guilty sigh. " Look, I know this looks real-ly bad, but I promise you I'm not doing anything illegal. Other than being here." Riiight. Because she also hadn't smuggled five other students of Vocational High School into the club either. Jeopardizing them in the event that they had also been found out. This whole girls night out was beginning to sound like a disaster. All she wanted to do was give some girls who truly deserved a fun night out just that. So much for being kind. Maybe going back to being bitchy would have just been easier.
Even she knew how bad that sounded. She closed her lips tightly as her throat became sore. She was choking up. Trying relentlessly to hold back her tears, her bright eyes glossed over. Jaquie had never coped well with disappointing anyone. And that is exactly what she felt she was doing. His face, his tone of voice, it read disappointment to her. She gulped, her bottom lip trembling. "I. I didn't mean t-to do anything wrong." She was silently hoping that the darkness of the club would conceal her expression. She didn't want to seem any more weak and helpless than she felt. Jaq looked away for a minute, and by chance caught the same red-head Feodor had spotted walking toward her, beaming. The blond shook her head as unnoticeable-y as she could, but just gave up as her friend kept walking toward her, a confused expression on her face. She tilted her head to Feodor and mouthed "No." It was then that it all finally clicked, and it was then that the red haired student turned on her heel and sped away, an alarmed and panicked expression on her face.
