NAME A FANTASY?
well, this is a bit personal. I'm gonna keep this one to myself.
rosalie didn't know how this requesting a song thing worked. actually, she hadn't been in this country for all that long. things seemed to work very different in england. she had noticed that more and more people were leaving which made it a bit easier for her to breathe properly. she didn't mind the people, but it was just the fact that she wasn't used to it. she wasn't all that picky when it came to songs. rosalie found herself loving all new songs she heard. sometimes it felt like she'd been closed off from the music world, but maybe that would change. she suspected that the dj could find something that she would like. not that his only job was to satisfy her musical needs. it didn't take a lot of courage for her to go up and talk to him. she was the type of person that would go up and talk to anybody. when it came down to real feelings and those important conversations, she didn't know how to handle those. she wasn't good with talking about her feelings of how she really felt. it would take quite a guy to force her into that conversation. in her twisted mind, she knew that no guy would stick around once they got to know the real rosalie. she just hoped that she was wrong. that's one of the few times she desperately hoped she would be wrong.
she found herself looking back at him when she least expected it. it was obvious that he was cute, even gorgeous, to anyone that had a pair of eyes. she didn't always like it when she startled people. but, it happened a lot more than she would've liked. maybe she wasn't as subtle as she could be. "cool." it wasn't hard to amuse her, actually. she was quiet at times and could sneak up on anybody at any given time, and it sometimes amused her when they got really startled. she'd noticed that this guy here seemed to be almost as awkward as she was. sometimes, it really showed and other times not so much. it was only when people really paid attention that they noticed. truth be told, she didn't even have a song in mind to begin with; she just wanted a reason to talk to him. not that she needed a reason, but it seemed like a good idea in her mind. her words 'surprise me' always had an insinuation that she wasn't always aware of. usually when she liked someone, those were the words she used to flirt with him. rosalie had no idea why, but they usually worked. getting inside a guy's mind wasn't exactly an easy task. "bless you, love." she appreciated his enthusiasm towards giving her a song.
rosalie waited for the next song, thinking back to the dj she met moments ago and a song just for her. it almost made her feel special in a weird way. she made her way down into the middle of the club with all the other partygoers. she danced away to the song, continuing to let her mind wander to that dj. there was something about him that she couldn't pinpoint that she really liked about him. he didn't seem like all the other typical guys she'd already met in los angeles, or even london. she was pretty sure she hadn't heard this song before, but she liked it. it hit her in a very nice way, and she knew the next time she heard it she'd be thinking about this night. rosalie looked up at the podium and he was gone. knitting her eyebrows together, she looked around and wonder where he ran off to. she kind of didn't want that to be their first and only meeting. a smile formed on her face when she caught wind of the fact that he was now walking towards her. that sent a strange sense of satisfaction through her. "hey! I did like it. you're good at surprises." it was easier to talk to him now that she wasn't raising her voice at him. "kane," she repeated his name, immediately feeling better now that she even knew his name. "I'm rosalie. or, rosie. whichever you prefer. I'm not picky." with that, she shook his hand giving into his polite ways.
