So, I'd love to introduce you all to my baby, Cody. She's nineteen and a college student, got in by scholarship. Most don't know Cody by name, with the simple explanation that she doesn't keep many friends. A shy girl, she's a listener and an observer. Coming from Minnesota, she left because of her ex. She met and starting dating him when they were twelve, and carried on their rocky relationship for almost seven years. She's just now learning to be on her own, but being independent is basically torture to her. She's very dependent, very affectionate, very attached. When you open her up she's very sarcastic, but also gentle and, when pushed, can be very fun. Cody's all alone in a new city and very scared.

As stated before, Cody doesn't keep very many friends because of her shy nature. I'd love for her to have that obnoxious, out there friend, for her to murmur and complain about, but secretly love. While she doesn't object to friends, she's so shy and awkward at first they don't tend to stay around, so she's just used to having less than most people. To warn all, she's very attached, and will pick one or two to be around most of the day, because she's afraid to be alone. So you'll have to deal with that. But she'll love you forever if you do.

Despite being shy and gentle, Cody does have a sarcastic and judging demeanor. She can be very snide and cruel when she wishes to be. On the opposite side of being dependent and affectionate, she has also learned to build a shell around herself, and when undesirables try to poke through, they are met with backlash. Most of the time it will be one-sided, as she doesn't really like to argue and confrontation. And she will do many things to make sure people like her, even if she doesn't find them appealing in her mind.

Just arriving in Miami, she'll try to avoid males at the most, which is quite difficult as she gets along with them better. I'm open to everything, really. I can see the two being friends as they are both quite shy; and having a comfortable relationship with that. Tal would probably also try to make her feel better about her situation any way he could because he is generally a very sweet individual. Let me know what you think or if you have any better ideas!

aw, he sounds sweet! i can definitely see him and Cody being friends. it'd be nice for her to have someone on the same wavelength. maybe they could sit and people watch, and ponder over people's weeirrd behaviors? hah, i'm not sure. perhaps they could have, midnight pondering sessions, and just chill and be awesome?

Gracen && Cody

It would probably take a little while for them to be friends. Gracen's blind, so she wouldn't notice a silent Cody sitting in a classroom (Gracen's also in college) unless she ran into her or Cody spoke first. But once they started talking, they would probably be friends. Gracen needs somebody who is willing to be around a lot to help her out, or even just to keep her company. Living alone at college is hard for Gracen to do, because she is always awkward in new places that she doesn't know the way around. So if you think it would work, Gracen and Cody could be friends (or even roommates). Gracen's kind and somewhat sarcastic herself (but only if pushed to it, she's not terribly sarcastic if the person's not being rude), but she loves having friends around and being with people, and she's the type of person to "adopt" shy people.

Let me know what you want to do, or any ideas that you might have. And if you think Gracen and Cody wouldn't work, that's cool, too.
