Wayward Dreams is a Real Life site with a twist. There is a Dreamworld, where you go when you sleep. It is set in our time. We have no canons, so you can make your own original characters. We have a short application for your character, and a face claim, where we only allow anime or manga pictures. We have a simple plot, allowing you to make your own stories.

What if you went somewhere when you dreamed? Where anything was possible, anything you wanted could happen, where you have your conscious and able to control what happens in this dream? Seems like Heaven, right? But what if one day, you died in your dream and you didn't wake up? And then people find your body cold and dead, with no real meaning of how you died.
Not everyone can get to this Dream World, it used to be only a handful of people, but now more and more, where hundreds are able to gain access into the Dream World. No one knows where it came from, or when people started to dream of it. And people are convinced that it is only a dream, that it doesn't really exist, just a part of their imagination that they are dreaming up.
Even now, with the year being 2010, more people are dreaming in this Dream World, finding themselves lost within it. Waking up is becoming harder then it should be. But when you do wake up, you go about your daily lives throughout the world, forgetting about the Dream World until you enter your dreams.
