In 2013, a drug called “Nirvana” was created by a man named Tatsu Sakamoto. At the time, he did not know what he had, but it was soon discovered to be perhaps the greatest drug ever invented. Well, to a certain point. At first, it was manufactured by the FDA as a prescription drug. Until the real side effects were discovered. Nirvana is a highly addictive drug with many uses to it. It’s a physiological drug that works with the brain functions. If you think of the drug as a pain killer, this is what it will be. If you think of this drug as a stimulate, this is what it would be. One taste of the drug and you’re addicted for the rest of your life. You can be sober for long periods of time, but in the end you always end up going back for the drug. When this was discovered as the results, the drug was pulled off the market and immediately illegalized.
During its short phase on the market, Tatsu Sakamoto became a rich man, and he thus bought himself a city. Yes, he bought a city. It twisted it and turned it into the place he wanted it to be. This included an underground where Nirvana is both made and sold. The officials of the city are all on the Sakamoto pay roll, and therefore they look the other way when it comes to everything within the city. The city has since become home to every addict of Nirvana and then some.
The city was named Nirvana for the drug in which it was created for.
