Welcome to the Revolution. The year is 1977 and the war is raging. There is blood, there is pain, there is strife. But there is also, freedom, beauty, truth and love. There are those that fight for a pure race, rid of the dirt, free from those not worthy enough to practice magic. There are those that fight for the right to live, fight for equality, they fight to have the upper hand over the evil. They fight for the light. And then there are those that fight to end all fighting. They are the revolutionaries, the revolters. Muggles and magic folk alike despise the thought of war. They not only take a neutral stance but they refuse to acknowledge that war is the key. They protest, they advocate the ideals of a perfect society, where people love their neighbor.
The Ministry has their own stance on things. They want to keep order at all costs, they want to make sure that the law is being followed and will prosecute those that refuse to comply. Like the revolters they refuse to take stance in the war and are only for the ending of conflict if it means a restoration of order.
The Dark Lord campaigns for the purging of the muggles and wizarding people thought to be unfit to practice magic. He has a reign of terror, ordering his loyal servants to kill in the streets, make examples of people who he deems no longer worthy to breathe. Dumbledore and his Order of the Phoenix are doing everything they can to stop that and fight for what they believe is right.
Muggles are no longer ignorant of the world of magic. The war has spilled out into the open and they refuse to stand by and watch as their kind are exterminated by the darkness. They are outraged and they want to fight. They protest, they rally, they love. They want freedom. They want a revolution. Vive La Vie Boheme. It’s all about Freedom, Beauty, Truth and Love, above all things and at all costs, love. Where do you stand?
