Haley paced her room on the top of her Miami mansion; the girl really did not want get out to face the day. She just stared out of the window of her room, the day was beautiful but here she was standing on silk camisole and boy-shorts not wanting to do anything. There were social commitments to be fulfilled but she just wanted to stay in her bed and not do anything but just sleep and watch TV. It was the stress of life that got to her at times, this was one of those times that the girl did not feel like she wanted to meet the day. All she could think about was just the tranquility of her room and her aromatic candles. That was one of the perks of being rich girl that you did not have to go out and work, she could just stay home and relax. But the problem was, if she did not show up to social activities that she had committed to that evening a lot of people might be upset with her. And Haley was not one that likes to get people upset because they did not tell her, they quickly reported back to her parents and that usually ended with her getting yell at. She sat at the edge of bed and just took a sip from her glass of water, Haley did not wanted to go out of her room and the day could be better just spent in here in the tranquility of it. As she finished her glass of water, there was a slight knock on her, Haley just spoke softly and dismissed whoever was at the door. If it was one of her friends, they knew how to get into her room even if the girl dismissed but most likely was her maid. And right now, the last thing that Haley wanted to do was deal with Rosie, her personal maid. She stared at the screen of her I-Phone as she looked at her calendar; the day was filled with too many responsibilities for liking. Haley just wished that she could be back in high school, where there was not a care in the world and she did not need to worry about so many social responsibilities. But right now life was different; she had social commitments of every kind that she had to fulfill because well she was an Atkinson that is how her life was most of the time. Haley just paced her room, she did not want do anything but just stay here. There were was too much pressure tonight especially; the girl was not ready for a red carpet event. She did not want face the scrutiny of the press nor the reporters present tonight, the girl wanted be just Haley for the day. The girl dialed a number on her I-Phone of her friend Kylie but quickly hanged up; she could not meet friends in this state that she was in. Haley sight as she lay in her bed and just relaxed, she hoped that the day could pass without her having to face it.. Word Count;527 Tag;Kylie Outfit; Haley's nightwear

Perfectly manicured nails scrolled over roller ball as a girl with sleek dark brown hair searched through her Blackberry. Her hypnotizing green eyes narrowed in confusion as she saw one missed call from Haley. She hadn't heard it ring, but simply shrugged it off and redialed the number. Her set of pink lips parted slightly in shock as she heard her friend's phone go into voicemail after only one ring. Nobody ignored her calls, especially not Haley. Feeling a bit hurt, confused and worried at the same time, she closed her laptop gently. Standing up from her bed, she smoothed down her blue empire waist dress and grabbed her phone before making her way down the grand staircase of her house. Something was wrong and she could just feel it. She knew that Haley sometimes felt insecure, but she had just talked to her last night and she sounded fine. She was worried, there was no denying that fact.
Kylie Marie Delaroux was never really one for caring about people. I mean, she did care about people, but she'd never let it show. She began to think back on why she did this as she slipped on a pair of black pumps that were in the shoe closet near her front door. Her past. That's what held her back from showing her feelings for people; her past. And not just romantic feelings, but friendship and family affection as well. Currently, she was in a daze of friendship affection and concern, wondering what in the world was going on with her friend today. Grabbing her keys quickly from the side-table in the hall, she exited her large estate and swung her Coach purse over her shoulder. This day was not at all what she was expecting it to be. She was taking a mental health day, full of chick-flicks, popcorn and basically just lounging around the house. But here she was, slipping into her shiny silver convertible and driving towards Haley Atkinson's house.
Kylie smirked a bit at her own thoughts and a laugh escaped from her lips as she pulled up in front of Haley's. Saying house was an understatement about anybody's home in her neighborhood. They were mansions, estates, manors, whatever you wanted to call them. All that anybody could agree on was that they were incredibly large and for the incredibly wealthy. Thank God that she was one of them, or she wouldn't know where she'd be. Growing up in an upper-class family gave her many connections that she definitely would need throughout her life. Also, thanks to her father's occupation as a movie producer and her mother's as an author, those connections only increased. As Kylie got out of the car, she ran her fingers through her hair. She had got slightly sidetracked when she was supposed to be trying to figure out what was wrong with her friend. She cared about her, more than she'd admit, so she was obviously concerned whenever she was feeling down.
She raised her petite hand and rang the doorbell. She could hear the familiar chimes from within and smiled warmly as Haley's maid answered the door. Rosie was such a sweetheart and Kylie had grown quite fond of her. Of course, she'd never admit that. Delarouxs never befriended the help, although she was close to her own housekeeper. "Hello, Rosie", she greeted, the stunning smile still apparent on her lips. "Is Haley home?" After learning that her friend was in her bedroom - as she always was when upset or stressed - she made her way up the staircase and down the wide hallway. She ran her fingers along the moldings as she passed, since the room she was headed to was at the very end of the hall. Everything about this mansion was so familiar, she couldn't help but feel at home here. She had dazed out again and realized that she was in front of Haley's bedroom. She rapped on the door three times and sighed impatiently. She better not dismiss her like she had the habit of doing, or Kylie might just barge right in there and pin her down. It was their friendship. STARRING : RYLEIGH DELAROUX WORDS : 697 STATUS : FINISHED NOTES : THIS IS CRAP, BUT ENJOY. Coming from a privilege background, Haley had never seen the other side of the tracks as matter of fact; she had being prohibited to interact with kids that were not of her social standing. But as she got older, that rule did not apply as much since most of the time, she was living on her own. And she found the rule archaic and antiquated, it did not have place in modern society. Plus most of the guys in her social class were bunch of steroid, douche bag freaks that all they wanted to do was control their women. And Haley was not one to be control at all; she did what she did no matter what was the opinion of the people. That is why a lot of guys were either afraid or intimidate by her because Haley was fiercely independent and hated being told what to do, it was her rules or the highway.
Haley was 16 but she acted if she was wise beyond her years which she was not. But she gave that aura confidence that carried her through any trouble, she might have. Haley had been blessed with confidence and social grace, which were key points in her life and helped her a lot. Even though, they were same age, there were a lot of differences between her and her friends. Haley was more independent, judgmental, assertive one and her friends were quieter. She had tendency to overreact and overanalyze everything, she did and said. Haley wonders why sometimes, she was not like an adult to be analyzing her thoughts but she always did. She got always all the attention that she wanted and just felt like she was most important girl in the household. Even though, she had two other sisters, her parents always showered her with attention. It was like she was perfect child but she was not, Haley knew that she had flaws and she knew it. Haley knew that she was spoiled and very bratty, but she did not care it helped her get what she wanted.
Her world tend to border line the line of what was possible and not, but the girl knew with money everything was possible. She just wonders why she was lucky to be born in this type of world. It was not like she was special, Haley just another normal girl that live in her world and just did her things. Sure, she was different with her parents being Hollywood Royalty but still, she considers herself a down home girl. At times, the girl did not do things that made her seem as normal as her friends but that was expected. Haley just wanted live her life and not worries about what people thought about her and what she did.
She opened her door and then just open her eyes as she notice Kylie standing there. There were tears coming down her cheeks, she did not want face the day. Haley gave her half smile and just looked at her friend, "I can't pretend its nothing,I got social activities to do tonight. I'm trying to avoid facing the day in the hopes that they go away." She gave her half smile then she sat on her bed again
