<sub>the twenty two year old squinted his eye as he held a strong grip around the baseball. eying the three milk cans stacked perfectly on a pedestal for the fourth time. ten bucks later, here is where danny brogan larson stood. with his trucker hat on backwards, he thanked himself for playing baseball for two years in high school, before pitching the ball and knocking down the three cans. danny just made it look easy but he took a good portion of the money he brought along to the carnival but it seemed worth. he along brought thirty bucks and spent ten already just for a giant banana. danny sighed at the lame stuffed fruit, hoping he'd at least win something more likable. mumbling a thank you, danny looked a bit skeptical as he held the banana. it was about two feet long and had big bug eyes and a wide creepy mouth. kinda like that banana from the infamous online video of peanut butter jelly time. turning on his heels, danny faced his beautiful girlfriend delta as he handed it to her. "for you my lady." he smirked as he pushed his hands into his shorts' pockets. "now you can brag to your friends about how huge your boyfriend's banana is." danny chuckled softly as he looked around. danny's life had been pretty easy going for the first time in a long time. he wasn't failing any classes so that was a good thing. then again, his major is undeclared so he isn't taking any really special or important classes. the whole dj thing is still a work in progress but not a fail whale exactly. and he was dating a pretty amazing girl. life couldn't get any better. his parents also seemed to be back to normal also. after his brother died two years ago it took a toll on them all. his parents the most. danny figured since they favored him more even if they wouldn't admit it aloud. pretty much since then danny has been trying to prove to them that he's far from being a failure and has been succeeding luckily. the anniversary of young jimmy's death was a month ago and that was the only time his parents weren't their normal selves. it's been rough but then again danny has seen a lot worse. danny felt like he hadn't been spending enough time with his girlfriend because he's been dealing with his parents and the memory of the loss so once he heard about the carnival he immediately thought it would be a great opportunity to take her out, and have fun. it's been a whole month since danny was smiling and laughing, that all needed to change soon. "so what do you want to do next?" either it was him spending more money on winning another lame prize of eating great junk food, danny didn't care. as long as he was spending time with this person that he cared about, it didn't matter. danny already lost someone that he cared and he didn't want to, he couldn't, go through that ever again.
