Eleni has come to finally visit her penpal from the States that she has been writing to for 5 + years. She is going to be staying with her for the summer and has gotten a job as a lifeguard to contribute to housing costs and for her shopping while she's here. Eleni's penpal would be a fun person to play with, and because Eleni has never really met her, her characteristics are up to you!

Also, since she is new to the states, Eleni is very unfamiliar with what people do and how they act here. This can be either a great thing, or a terrible thing. The situation makes Eleni extremely vulnerable, which makes getting into trouble fairly easy. She's naive to the American culture, and therefore needs to acquire friends to not only protect her, but to teach her the way of life here opposed to Italy. And though she's very open to friendships, she doesn't like to be told what to do, and thinks the way she's been taught growing up applies everywhere, which makes everything all the more fun.

With the friends come the enemies. Some people are so gosh darn mean and have nothing better to do than pick on people like Eleni, or take advantage of her. Eleni thinks she knows wrong from right, and only tends to see the good in people, which in this case could potentially hurt her. Want to be that bad guy? Let me know.

Since Eleni is only visiting the States, she doesn't really have any family here. Want to be a distant relative (cousin perhaps?), then just ask. No requirements on these characters either, besides being part Italian.

And lovers are for last. The same idea from her friendships applies here. Like I said before, she is very innocent and naive and only knows what she does on a romantic basis mostly from what she's seen in movies and around town. Since she still lives at home with her parents, dating was a bit of an issue. She's never truly had a boyfriend because her father is a bit of a tough cookie, a visually scary, Italian one at that. She's been on a few dates, but hasn't met a guy that has lived up to the movie romance yet. Want to be her prince charming? Give it a shot!

Thanks for posting in my debate, this is my reply to you. =)

I'm definitely up for a friendship with these two, I think they
would get along perfectly and being the protective kind of guy
James is, he would definitely feel as if he needs to watch over
her. Mind you, he is also a police officer and feels as if it's his
job to do so, even when not in uniform. As for a possible crush,
I think he would definitely feel a pull for her, an attraction of
sorts. If she was to show that she had feelings for him then he
would likely return them, but if she kept quiet, he would keep
his quiet also. I guess we can roleplay them out and see. What do
you say they meet at the bomfire? They could both have recently
arrived to Miami if you want. Well, at least it will be James' first
week back home and on the job.
