Finn had agreed to hang out with Addison when they had met previously in the diner and it was an understatement to say she had made a lasting impression on him. She was entirely different to the people he had met before, in both good ways and bad and as he messed up his hair one last time, he smiled at the thought of seeing her again - the curiousity about what she would act like this time plaguing him to the point of annoyance. Hearing the truck pull up outside his house, Finn grabbed his things and headed out the door with a rushed farewell to his parents, he hadn't bothered to tell them he was going out - they were used to his sudden disappearances by now.
Climbing in the passenger side of the truck, Finn grinned widely at Addison behind the wheel and closed the door noisly."Hello, Sailor." He wasn't worried about awkward silences or misunderstood jokes because Addison calmed the atmopshere in an instant with her tomboyish ways and casual attitude - she was the type of person everyone needed to be around. It confused Finn that she acted so differently however and after hearing of her male-friend troubles it worried him slightly that she was reducing her chance at happiness by acting so, non-girly. Despite what many claimed, guys enjoyed watching their girlfriends pamper themselves and fret about the slightest hair out of place - if they wanted someone to talk about cars with or comment on the latest football game, they'd go to a guy.
Watching the road they took ahead soon turn into a stretch of sand, Finn rested his arm on the metal door casually, a smile still playing upon his lips. Time would tell whether or not Addison was being for real with her ways and he looked forward to finding out the truth. Glancing over as she threw the car into park, Finn climbed out and undressed as she retrieved their boards. It wasn't in his nature to worry about others seeing his body, he was proud of it afterall, Toned, tanned and teasing. It bought a grin to his face even as he watched Addison check their boards and progress into undressing herself. "Y'know, any other girl would worry about undressing infront of someone she'd only met once." Finn laughed at this, but only to push forth the joke he was trying to make, he knew she wouldn't take offence but felt that he needed to ensure she knew of the humour in his words just incase.
Walking forward and following the direction Addison took he scoffed at her comment and reduced his speed to an almost crawl. She should know better than to call him up on something because nine times out of ten, he would act that way just to further annoy a person. Applying a cheeky grin to his dark-olive features, Finn shouted across the distance between them. "Shut up Add, i'll walk as slow as i like!" And so he did. His feet graced the sand every few seconds and it was at this slow pace that he finally reached her side a good while later. Looking across with a smug smile, he nudged her shoulder playfully before turning his attention towards the water up ahead. "Okay, i have arrived. Now, we can surf."
