NEW WORD COUNT Hey guys, so MMH was meant to be a no word count site but it was also meant to be advanced/literate and we've noticed some people aren't quite meeting the admins' standard of "advanced" so we're adding a word count. It's nothing huge but from now on your post must be at least 350 words. If you feel like you can't reach this then maybe this site isn't for you and if sometimes your muse is a little low, it's always better to just not post. Your RP partner can wait another day or so. This new rule is starting as soon as this is posted and hopefully it works and makes MMH even better than it is (:
love, jess, skye, kay, and summer!

for the love that is all good, POST THE WORD COUNT! three hundred and fifty words is not hard, and if you feel like you can't post it, then this site isn't for you. most roleplayers on this site post more then five hundred. i just saw someone that had posted under three hundred words. guys, it's not acceptable. if we give you a warning, then you should try and post more. it's not that hard, honestly. but, if we have to continously give you warnings after warnings, then your posting abilities WILL be suspended. it's annoying. meet me halfway is an advanced roleplay site. if you can't post at least 350 words, then like i said, this site isn't for you.
ALSO, THE WORD COUNT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE CODING OF YOUR POST. it's the amount that you've typed out for your character, so quit adding the coding into it. it has nothing to do with your word count and it doesn't count.
BUT, YES. POST THE WORD COUNT. -_- it's not hard. if you don't have muse for a reply, then don't reply yet. it's simple. wait until you actually do have muse and reply then. if the person has to wait, then who cares? at least they're getting a decent reply in return. and, if you feel like you're not going to make the word count, then add things in. describe the setting a little more, what your character did that day, what they smell, what they're wearing, how they feel about the character that's in the thread with you. if you do need help with a reply, then head to caution. they have a whole board to help you out with your characters. in fact, THIS is a really good thread to help with replies. also, THIS board can really help you with your characters.
i'm really going to start cracking down on this, because it annoys the hell out of me. the word count is listed in the rules, which you should be reading before you join. everyone knows this, and the admin's make sure that your roleplay sample in your application is three hundred and fifty words before we accept you. if you could of done it for that certain post, then i'm sure you can do it again.
by the way, i've already past the word limit. if i can quickly post more then 350 words in ten minutes, in a thread talking about the word count, then you can do the same. -_-
